Adam Shimbirolays is a Somali author, poet, singer-songwriter, musician, and community activist born in Garbaharrey, Somalia. Raised in Gedo and shaped by family, hardship, culture, and civil war, he carries the voice of a survivor who turned personal loss into storytelling, music, poetry, and a lifelong commitment to memory, truth, community, courage, and Somali identity for readers around the world.
